Privacy Policy
How Three Cities Publishing LLC handles the personal information you share with us.
Effective 5 September 2026
Who we are
Three Cities Publishing LLC (“Three Cities”, “we”) is an independent publishing company based in the United States. We operate threecitiespublishing.com (the “Site”). For any privacy matter, contact tony@threecitiespublishing.com.
What we collect
Contact form. If you write to us through the Site, we receive the name, email address, organisation, inquiry type and message you enter, together with the date and the IP address the message was sent from. We ask for nothing more than we need to reply.
Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider records standard technical information about visits (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time of request) for security and to keep the Site running. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not used to identify individual visitors.
No tracking. The Site does not use analytics, advertising cookies or social-media trackers. It sets no cookies of its own. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address in order to serve the font files; see Google’s privacy policy.
Why we use it and on what basis
We use contact-form details to respond to you and, where an inquiry leads to a business relationship, to conduct that relationship. Our legal bases are our legitimate interest in answering messages sent to us and, where applicable, the performance of a contract. Server logs are processed in our legitimate interest in keeping the Site secure.
Who receives it
Messages are stored on our web hosting provider’s servers in the United States and delivered to our company mailboxes, which are hosted by Zoho in the European Union. We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with anyone else, and we do not use it for marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep contact-form messages for as long as needed to deal with your inquiry and for up to three years afterwards, unless a longer period is required for a contract or by law. You may ask us to delete your message earlier at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have these rights under the GDPR; California residents have comparable rights under the CCPA. To exercise any of them, email tony@threecitiespublishing.com. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising their rights.
International transfers
If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where our hosting is located. We rely on the safeguards described above and on standard contractual protections offered by our providers.
Children
The Site is intended for publishing professionals and adult readers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the effective date above.
